Activity
The company is dedicated to viticulture and winemaking in the Priorat region, specifically in Gratallops, producing estate and village wines from native grape varieties, primarily Garnatxa. It also produces Arbequina extra virgin olive oil from its own estates.

History
The current project is the result of the union of the Balaguer and Cabré families, with a long winemaking tradition in the area. The current winery, located in the oldest part of Gratallops, is the result of the renovation of a historic building and represents the continuity of the family's experience in producing quality wines, with limited production and a focus on respect for the land and traditional practices. Furthermore, the company has promoted the recovery and valorization of Priorat rancio wines through the Arrels del Priorat project, launched in 1997.

Product types
The company mainly produces red and white estate and paratge wines, highlighting references such as La Guinardera (Vi de Paratge Guinanderes), Lluna Vella (Vi de Vila), Parhelia (Vi de Vila, white garnatxa), Ruella and Cèrcol Daurat (Vi de Paratge Masos de Gratallops). It also produces long-aged rancid wines under the Arrels del Priorat brand, such as Ca les Viudes, Ca l'A. Cabré Bru, Cal Piró and Arrels 30 years. In addition, it produces extra virgin Arbequina olive oil from the Mas de Dalt estate.

Mission
The company seeks to convey the character of the territory and each vintage through its wines, respecting traditional practices and the environment. Its goal is to produce wines that reflect the uniqueness of each estate and maintain the agricultural and cultural legacy of Priorat. In the long term, it aims to preserve and enhance the local winemaking tradition, as well as maintain the sustainability and quality of its products.
