Acústic Celler
Making a simile to acoustic music, without electricity, the wines of Acústic Celler are wines without makeup, pure.
In an area with character and personality, with very old vineyards, as is the D.O. Montsant, Albert Jané, great-grandson of winemakers in the Penedés, decides to make the wines from the Acústic Celler winery. Thanks to its climate and very extreme soil, it produces authentic, deep and unique wines. All Acústic Celler wines are quality and try to express character, tradition and the history of the area.
The winery is called Acústic Celler since it wants to elaborate wines making a simile to acoustic music, without electricity, wines without makeup, cigars. Vineyard wines. They elaborate wines with autochthonous varieties, with low productions and vineyards between 35 and 80 years.
The red wine from the Acústic de Montsant winery is the one with the same name, Acústic Tinto, made with Garnacha, Samsó (Cariñena) and some Garnacha Peluda, spending around a year in barrels. Also well-known are Braó, bravura in Castilian, and Auditori that symbolizes the cathedral of the winery for that reason the name of where concerts with such good acoustics are given. The white wine of Acústic is very appreciated, making a part of the barrel fermentation to give it more structure.
At the same time, Albert Jané has launched his Priorat wine project, Ritme Celler. The philosophy is the same, careful elaborations with grapes from very old vines of small plots. In order to elaborate its white wine it uses strains of Garnacha Blanca and Macabeo. All the wines from the Ritme Celler winery go through barrels.
