La Roda, a town between Madrid and Alicante, has historically been a rural agricultural land. The written documentation of the controlled vineyards dates back to the 12th century; However it is known that the Romans first cultivated the grapes many centuries before. La Roda is also part of the "Don Quixote" defeat described in Miguel Cervantes' most famous book. The vineyards throughout our region ...are selected for their individual characteristics or age and, therefore, allow us to produce a range of wines that satisfy the taste or budget of most people. The health and growth of the vines are controlled and well cared for at each stage of pruning, vegetation, growth, maturity and harvest. Production: This process begins when the grapes are harvested. We select meticulously the best grapes before transporting them to the winery in which the fermentation takes place. Both the fermentation and the following processes use a mixture of tradition, know-how and modern technology that guarantees the best possible final product. Storage and Aging: Our modern warehouse is designed with the aim of creating the best possible environment for the conservation of our wine. Parameters such as temperature, humidity and light are controlled artificially to obtain an ideal stable environment. For the winemaking process we use stainless steel tanks and French and American oak barrels for our aging.
