Gordonzello SA was founded in 1995 by 101 winegrowers from Gordoncillo (León) with the aim of revitalizing local viticulture, which was in decline. Between 1996 and 1998, 205 hectares of modern vineyards were planted. The new winery was inaugurated in 2002, consolidating the recovery of the area's winemaking history. Today, the company has positioned itself as a modern and promising winery within the national winemaking scene.
Product types
The company offers a wide range of wines made primarily from native grape varieties such as Prieto Picudo and Albarín, as well as Tempranillo, Mencía, and Verdejo. Its notable products include Peregrino (white, rosé, and red), Antojo Blanco Dulce, Sangría Gordonzello, Vermut Pelirrojo, and Kyra Albarín Barrica. It also offers wine tourism experiences, tastings, visits to the wine museum, and corporate services and personalized gifts.
