History
The company began operations in 1965 as a family business focused on the cultivation, washing, and marketing of carrots. Hortícola ESMA, SL was founded in 1995, and in 1999 it established its production plant in Villanueva de Duero. It subsequently expanded its product range to include potatoes and onions. In 2017, due to increased production, it expanded its facilities and invested in modern machinery. Between 2020 and 2021, it remodeled its plant, incorporating advanced technology and automation to optimize the production process.
