Activity
We have been working since 1903 to become what we are today: the sugar reference company in Spain. We are leaders in the distribution, marketing and production of white and brown sugar, an achievement that we can achieve thanks to the good work of the staff of our production, distribution, R & D and central offices, as well as the thousands of growers who sell us their crops every year. Since 2009, Azucarera is part of the AB Sugar Group, the world's largest sugar producer, which in turn belongs to ABF (Associated British Foods), an international food, ingredients and textile industry group, present in 46 countries.

History
Since 1903, the company has been extracting sugar from sugar beets produced by local farmers. Over the years, it has evolved by incorporating innovation and research into its processes and products, collaborating closely with farmers, and developing shared cropping models and agronomic advisory services. The company has faced agronomic and meteorological challenges, adapting and contributing to the rural and economic development of the regions where it operates.

Product types
It offers sugar and beet and sugarcane by-products, functional ingredients for human and animal food, fertilizers, and products for agriculture and industry. It also provides agronomic consulting services and solutions for farmers, as well as tailored products for industry, distribution, hospitality, and cash & carry.

Mission
The company seeks sustainable production that guarantees the supply of sugar and by-products under optimal conditions of quality, food safety, and price, promoting rural development, the well-being of the communities where it operates, and respect for the environment. Its vision includes efficiency, sustainability, and the creation of economic, social, and environmental value through the circular economy and innovation.
