PAYMENT: It is said of a place or rural site that has its own characteristics that differentiate it and distinguish it from others in its environment and that is known by a traditionally linked name. In the Spanish wine quality pyramid, the payment occupies the highest level.

The Ramón Reula family's winemaking project began in the 1980s with the reunification of historic properties that make up Finca Aylés, whose roots in vine cultivation date back to the 12th century. Since then, the estate has passed through the hands of Cistercian monks and nobility, until it was reunited by the current family in the 1990s, consolidating Pago Aylés.

The company offers wines from different plots and families, highlighting single-vineyard wines such as 'Cuesta del Herrero' and 'Senda de Leñadores', as well as other lines such as 'Patria Chica', 'Airaz', 'Ayles', and 'Volaverunt'. It produces red and rosé wines, and wines of various ages (young, reserve, and grand reserve), using varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, Merlot, and Tempranillo, and uses French and American oak barrels.
