ADEGA VALDES

Adega Valdés is a reflection of the vocation and work of the Valdés family, owner for more than 30 years of twenty hectares of vineyards on the banks of the Ulla River. In 2001, with the extension of the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin to that area, the current winery was founded, which combines a family tradition with the most avant-garde wine-making techniques. The entire production of Adega Valdés comes from its own vineyards. The grape that par excellence is harvested in the property is the "albariño", alma mater of its first brand, Gundian. The winery also has a wide extension dedicated to the "treixadura" variety, which allows it to elaborate plurivarietal wines of different aromatic intensity. The vineyards of the Valdés family are located in the lands of Vedra, at the foot of the historic Gundian bridge, between Monte de las Roxas and Castro San Miguel. This privileged area belongs to the Ulla sub-area, within the Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin.

The company primarily offers white and red wines made from varieties such as Albariño and Treixadura. Highlights include Albariño Gundián, Albariño Señorio de Rozadela, Albariño Xiradella, Gundián Albariño Espumoso Brut, Pazo Viladomar, and Mayor de Gundián.
