In the past, the Labastida winemaker used to plant Viura in the highest part of each vineyard, what we know as "heads." Our old Viura vineyards today come from those plantations. After manual harvesting, we macerate the harvest for 12-24 hours in cold to achieve the greatest possible extraction of aromatic precursors from the skin. We then press and decant the must by flotation. After fermentation, we leave the wine on its lees, working them in tanks until bottling. Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections. Clean and bright. Very clean and intense on the nose with predominant aromas of tropical and white fruits. Floral and citrus nuances also appear. Sweet and balanced on the palate, thanks to the contrast between the acidity and the work of the lees in the tank, which provide structure.
