Los Herrreros is a 75-year-old Garnacha vineyard. It is located at 510 metres above sea level on a limestone sand soil. 80-85% of the harvest is destemmed. Production in a small open tank with manual pumping over and treading, removing the stems by hand as they are removed during fermentation. Subsequent ageing for 15 months in used 500-litre French oak barrels. Clean and bright, with great colour intensity and picota cherry colour. Intense, delicate and complex nose, with notes of cherry, orange peel and balsamic touches. Broad on the palate, supporting a present and integrated acidity. In the long and enveloping finish, subtle touches of wood appear that add to the whole.
