Vermador Barrica wine is a unique wine from its origins. The Monastrell variety, native to the Alicante DO, shares the vineyard with the legendary Syrah. After selecting the winery's best and oldest vineyards, the grapes are harvested manually at the peak of grape ripeness. After destemming and gentle crushing, the grapes and must ferment in stainless steel tanks at 23°C for 20-25 days. Each variety is vinified separately with native yeasts to achieve the highest quality, seeking distinct wine styles for subsequent blending. The second fermentation takes place in new, medium-toasted American and French oak barrels for four months to provide that special nuance that makes it so distinctive.
