The company emerged after a process of restructuring and restoring vineyards in Castillejo de Robledo that began in 1987. After several attempts at marketing and winemaking through local cooperatives, Bodegas Castillejo de Robledo, SA, was established in 1998 with 14 winegrowers and Caja Rural de Soria as its initial shareholders. The winery began operations in 1999 and has grown in terms of facilities and production, consolidating its presence in both the domestic and export markets.
