History
Javier San Pedro Ortega is the fifth generation of a family of winemakers from Laguardia, Rioja Alavesa. He learned the trade from his grandfather and made his first wine at age 17 in his father's winery. In 2013, he founded his own project, Bodegas Javier San Pedro Ortega. The new winery opened in 2018. The company has 15 vintages under its belt and has developed 21 products on the market.
Product types
The company offers more than 15 red, white, and rosé wines, all under the Rioja DOC. Its wines include Anahí Blanco, Cueva de Lobos, La Viña de María, Viuda Negra, Arca de Asa, La Taconera, and Alpha. It also sells spirits such as Vermut Todo El Rato and Rickman Gin.
