Cuatro Pasos shows its freshest and youngest face in a harvest in optimum ripeness. This harvest and the balance in the use of oak are the perfect allies to be able to enjoy all the character of the Bierzo Mencía in the most fruitful, frank and rounded way. To preserve the fruity expression in Cuatro Pasos, a light aging in wood is carried out for 3 months, which allows to reach a perfect balance between ripe red fruit, vanilla and mocha sweets. Bear footprints found in our Bierzo vineyards led our wine to acquire a great commitment to this animal in danger of extinction and also inspired its name. That is why Cuatro Pasos and the bears have since then walked in the same direction: that of its protection.
