Otero Mencía Rosé Slates 75Cl DO Bierzo

Pizarras de Otero Rosé is made from Mencía grapes from selected vineyards in the valley of El Bierzo. An early harvest enhances the freshness of the grapes from these more vigorous vineyards, where the bunches grow protected by vegetation. Once the grapes arrive at the winery, they are pressed directly, which gives them an attractive pale pink colour. Fermentations take place at a cool, controlled temperature (never higher than 18o) in order to preserve the aromas and freshness of the grapes as much as possible.
