Bodegas Murviedro was founded in 1927 as the Spanish subsidiary of the Schenk Group, one of the leading companies in the wine sector in Europe. In 1997 they moved their facilities from the Grao de Valencia to its current location in the town of Requena, Valencia. The company remains owned by the same family and maintains the values ​​of a family business managed by professionals. Today, Bodegas Murviedro is a company that combines tradition with cutting-edge technology producing quality wines from the Denominations of Origin Valencia, Utiel-Requena, Alicante, Rueda, Wines of the Land of Castilla y Cava.


History
The company's origins date back to 1927, when Bodegas Schenk established subsidiaries in Spain under the name Schenk España. Initially, it focused on bulk wine and later on exports from Valencia. In 1950, bottled wine took center stage. In 1997, the company moved its headquarters to Requena, in the Utiel-Requena Designation of Origin. In 2002, the company was renamed Bodegas Murviedro. In 2010, it focused on native varieties and old-vine vineyards. In 2017, the 90th anniversary was celebrated, and the Historic Winery was founded in Requena, reinforcing the local identity and its commitment to the Bobal variety.

It offers a wide range of red, white, and rosé wines, organic and vegan, cava, sparkling, and alcohol-free wines.
