History
The company is located in the Sierra de Guara, in the heart of the Somontano Designation of Origin, an area with a winemaking tradition dating back to Roman times. It has developed wine tourism as a strategic line of brand expansion. In 2016, the main brand, IDRIAS, renewed its image and reaffirmed its affiliation with the Somontano Designation of Origin. Grandes Vinos y Viñedos, SA subsequently acquired Bodegas Sierra de Guara to complement its international offering.
Product types
The company produces certified organic wines, including varieties such as Chardonnay, Tempranillo, Gewürztraminer, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and rosé wines. Highlights include Chardonnay Colección, Tempranillo, Gewürztraminer, Roble, and Crianza. It also offers wine tourism services, guided tours, tastings, and pairing experiences.
Mission
The company's fundamental purpose is to reflect the essence of the Sierra de Guara through the production of quality wines, managing its vineyards sustainably and ecologically. In the long term, it seeks to establish itself as a benchmark in the Somontano Designation of Origin and expand its presence through wine tourism and the promotion of wine culture.
