Sweet red wine Monastrell Castaño bottle 500ml

The Castaño Family has always been a pioneer in the area, experimenting with the Monastrell variety, both in varietal and coupage, introducing the latest technological advances, both in the vineyard and in the winery, and implementing quality systems that allow for the most appropriate production. Its wines are the result of working with the autochthonous Monastrell variety, of constant experimentation with other varieties and of the different types of soil where its DO Yecla vineyards are located. The care of the vineyard, the exhaustive selection of grapes and a meticulous preparation, adapted to each variety and type of grape, allow this winery to offer a wide range of wines, young or with different levels of oak aging, monovarietal and harmonious blends.

Features

• Tasting note: Deep purple color with brick rim. Medium intensity with notes of candied black fruit, raisins, carob and black olives. Fresh, tasty, with marked plum jam and a touch of dried fruit (fig). Pleasant finish with some acidity to balance its sweetness.
• Perfect combination with dark chocolate (70% or more), cured cheeses, especially blue, and foie gras or pates. It is recommended to consume fresh but not cold, between 10-12ºC
