The company is a family winery dedicated to the production and elaboration of wines, located in Gumiel de Mercado (Burgos), in the Ribera del Duero designation of origin. Its main activity is viticulture and winemaking, using traditional methods and its own vineyards.
History
The winery was founded in 2002 and, despite its short history, has established itself in the wine industry. It is a family business that maintains traditional methods of winemaking and production, progressively increasing its production and selling around 180,000 bottles annually.
Product types
The company primarily produces red wines and some white wines. Its notable products include: Tinto Joven, Tinto Roble, Crianza, 12 Meses, Selección, Reserva, Policarpo, Albillo, Caliel Roble, Caliel Selección Familia, and Merlot. Most of its wines are made from the Tempranillo variety, although other varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Albillo are also used.
