History
Casa Amella was founded in 2002 in Castellterçol, initially in the family garage, with the goal of sharing healthy cuisine based on local, earth-friendly products. Inspired by family tradition and contact with nature, the company has evolved while maintaining its focus on homemade plant-based cooking, steaming, and collaboration with local farmers. Currently, it operates out of a vegan and organic factory in Artés and remains committed to sustainability and quality.
Product types
It offers a wide range of organic and 100% plant-based products, including: vegetable creams, cooked legumes, organic vegan sauces (such as vegan mayonnaise and vegan aioli), hummus, vegetable pâtés, tomato sautéed dishes, vegetable burgers, extra virgin olive oils, artisan pasta, fruit juices, gazpacho, olives, and product packs. Highlights include organic vegan sauces recognized at SIAL Innovation Paris 2024, certified gluten-free organic brown lentils, organic hummus, and organic vegan mayonnaise.
