chamoy hot sauce

The chamoy flavor is salty, sweet, sour and spicy with chili powder at the same time. Due to the combination of salt, sweet and heat, chamoy is advertised as a seasoning for a wide variety of foods ranging from fresh fruits and juices to chips and assorted nuts. Chamoy is also used as a flavor for frozen confections such as sherbet or ice cream, a unique flavor combination that is sweet, salty, spicy and cold at the same time.
