History
Grupo Coviñas was founded in 1965 in Requena, Valencia, when ten local cooperatives joined together to create a distillery. In 1967, they began bottling quality wine under the 'Vino de la Reina' brand, which was renamed 'Enterizo' in 1985. In 1994, they began their international expansion, exporting to Europe. In 2003, they ceased distilling to focus on wine and expanded their facilities. In 2008, they began producing cava. Over the last decade, they have experienced significant growth, expanding their product range and exporting to more than 30 countries. They have received several awards, including recognition as the Best Cooperative Winery in the World in 2022.
