Canned traditional vegetables from the Ribera de Navarra
History
Conservas J. Vela was founded in 1892 in Lodosa, Navarra, by Don Ramón Vela, who began the business roasting piquillo peppers in a wood-fired oven and canning them using traditional methods. In the 1930s, the factory moved to Mendavia, where it continues to operate. Over more than 130 years and four generations, the company has grown and expanded its catalog, maintaining artisanal production and quality as its hallmarks. It has received numerous awards and recognitions for the quality of its products.
