History
Ferrarini began its business in 1956 with the industrial production of prosciutto cotto in Rivaltella, Reggio Emilia. Over the decades, the company expanded its product range and production capacity, including the production of Prosciutto di Parma and the acquisition of Vismara. It has developed an international network and has been recognized as a "Marchio Storico di Interesse Nazionale." In 2023, it became part of the Pini Group.


Product types
The company offers a wide range of products, including Prosciutto Cotto (especially the Big Storico), Prosciutto di Parma DOP, Parmigiano Reggiano, mortadella (such as the Italica with pistachio and mandorla), salami, guanciale, bresaola, pancetta, culatta, cotechino, zampone, and tacchino arrosto. It also produces cooked and cured specialties, as well as typical Italian cheeses.
