Pedro Álvarez Penelas begins his journey with the distribution of legumes leonese through the Spanish territory in a small warehouse in the town of Veguellina de Órbigo Leonese, this being the moment that begins to grow the company we know today. The company HISPANO FRANCESA D...E LEGUMBRES was born and after the first expansion of facilities, it began to be exported. We began our adventure outside our borders traveling to Italy, France, and the former Spanish colonies.
The involvement of the company in the region is evident, generating new jobs.

A large extension of the Veguellina facilities is carried out to give demand to the new markets that the company is introducing.
2000
With the entry into the business of a new family generation. The most ambitious work of the group is undertaken to date.
It is about modern facilities of more than 17,000 m² equipped with the latest technology in the neighboring town of Villarejo de Órbigo.
The production of cooked vegetables and prepared dishes begins.
