Suze

Gentian and various aromatic plants are used for its production. The gentian root is macerated in alcohol for at least 1 year and then the juice is extracted by pressing the gentian root. The juice is distilled in a still in a process that has been specially adapted for the development of Suze and allows to give the product its identity. Gentian is then macerated with various aromatic plants. This process has been carried out in the same way since 1889, following the traditional formula ever since.
