Seagaram's became a partner and later 100% owner of the business. Seagram's Extra Dry Gin began to be produced in 1939 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana (USA). The classic bottle (since 1939) has irregular shapes on its sides which gave it the nickname of the bumpy bottle smooth gin. The Seagram's Gin bottle was originally designed with seashell inlays to give it a raised texture. The Seagram family crest presides over the front of the bottle.
