Our family, originally from Valdemanco del Esteras, municipality of Castilla - La Mancha (Spain), owns an extensive olive grove that has been operating for decades for the production of olive oil.
The way to produce olives for our oil is totally respectful with people and the environment.
Chemical products are not used, only natural resources, and good treatment is essential among people.
Since 1985 the founder of Fishgourmet, a simple but persistent and persistent man dedicated part of his life to the elaboration of smoked sardines, being the pioneer in this and striving day after day in the improvement of the product, made in a traditional way and with special care for the product to reach the consumer in optimal conditions.
Being Fishgourmet a small family business, the founder...passed on his knowledge from generation to generation, until today we continue striving to fulfill his dream.

All our products are characterized by containing an interesting amount of unsaturated fatty acids from the Omega 3 family that have a positive impact on the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. This is important since it is a good alternative to the high protein consumption of high-fat meats, which is not very beneficial for health.
Fishgourmet carefully controls the process from its reception, salted, smoked and totally handmade, carefully taking care of tenderloin, leaving these completely clean, without skin, or scales or thorns, until their packaging.
