History
The company originated on the Fuente de la Rosa family estate, located in the Cordoba countryside, with an olive-growing tradition dating back to the 15th century. The current project was born after the discovery of historical documents from 1490 related to the estate and the Order of Calatrava, and a legendary connection to Christopher Columbus. Today, the company uses a small portion of its harvest to package oils under the 1490 brand, combining tradition, history, and design in its products. It has earned international recognition and collaborates with artists and chefs to create special editions.

It offers extra virgin olive oils in different varieties and presentations, including hand-painted porcelain bottles, oils infused with natural essences such as orange and lemon, limited editions in collaboration with artists and chefs, gift baskets, refillable formats, and accessories such as dispensers and tasting plates. Highlights include the Galera, Roseta, Bluu, and Jade bottles, as well as special collections such as Naranjito and Limonero.
