Extra Virgin Olive Oil
History
The Gálvez-González family, initially dedicated to brickmaking, decided in 2002 to diversify their activity into the production of extra virgin olive oil. In 1999, they acquired two estates, "La Casa del Agua" and "Los Juncales," and in 2005, they founded Galgón 99, SL as a producer, packager, and marketer of olive oils, integrating all stages of the production process and ensuring traceability from the field to the final consumer. Currently, the third generation of the family remains involved in olive oil production.
Product types
The company primarily offers extra virgin olive oils under the Oro Bailén brand, highlighting the Picual, Arbequina, Hojiblanca, and Frantoio varieties. It also markets innovative products such as extra virgin olive oil pearls and extra virgin olive oil jams. It also offers gift boxes and various packaging formats.
Mission
The company's mission is to produce high-quality extra virgin olive oils, promoting and disseminating the oil's excellence as a healthy food, and fostering knowledge about its different varieties and culinary uses. Its goal is not only to maximize production, but to maintain quality and teach consumers how to enjoy and pair different types of oils.
