History
Founded in 1935 as the 'Bodega Cooperativa de La Seca' by winegrowing families from La Seca (Valladolid), the cooperative has evolved over the decades, changing its name to 'Agrícola Castellana' in 1946 and adopting its current name, Bodega Cuatro Rayas, in 2019. It has undergone processes of professionalization, technological innovation, and international expansion, diversifying its product range and modernizing its facilities. Throughout its history, it has been a pioneer in the Rueda Designation of Origin and has championed sustainability and equality, consolidating itself as a benchmark in the Spanish wine sector.
Product types
The company offers a wide range of wines, highlighting Verdejo whites, as well as wines from other grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Tempranillo, Viura, and Palomino Fino. Its catalog includes white, red, rosé, sparkling, fortified, vermouth, organic, and bag-in-box wines. Highlights include Cuatro Rayas Vendimia Nocturna Verdejo, Cuatro Rayas Longverdejo Gran Vino de Rueda, Amador Diez, the Cuarenta Vendimias range, and Grape Lager craft beer.
