Company created in 1906 destined to the production and commercialization of natural mineral water without gas and with gas.
History
The Cabreiroá spring was discovered in the 19th century and soon became known for the properties of its water. In 1904, scientific analysis confirmed its benefits, and the land was acquired. In 1906, the Templete de los Agüistas was built, and the water was declared a mineral-medicinal water, leading to the creation of a spa that flourished between 1910 and 1936. After the Spanish Civil War, activity declined, but the brand maintained international exposure, remaining one of the most exported Spanish mineral waters. In 2006, the company was acquired by Hijos de Rivera, which entailed a modernization of the plant and a commitment to sustainability and innovation in packaging.
Product types
It primarily offers natural mineral water, both still and sparkling (under the Magma de Cabreiroá brand). The products are presented in a wide variety of sustainable packaging, including rPET (recycled plastic), glass, aluminum, and recycled cardboard bottles. Highlights include natural mineral water, sparkling mineral water, and special editions such as themed and collectible bottles.
Mission
The company aims to generate a positive impact on its surroundings through sustainable initiatives, respect for nature, and the promotion of the circular economy. Its goal is to achieve carbon neutrality at its source and foster social engagement for environmental protection.
