History
Founded in 1945 by Francisco Sabater Beltrá, the company began by hand-packing spices and herbal products. It initially sold under the La Herradura brand in Extremadura, later expanding with the acquisition of brands such as Guisanol, Payaso, Blancanieves, and La Colmena, which allowed it to expand its presence in various regions of Spain. In the 1990s, it consolidated its name as Azafranes Sabater, expanding its distribution to large retailers and chain stores. It is currently managed by the third generation of the family.
Product types
It offers a wide range of spices, aromatic herbs and condiments, including saffron threads and ground, peppers (black, green, white, pink), garlic, cardamom, cumin, dill, infusions, nutmeg, paprika, pine nuts, thyme, sesame, onion, turmeric, chili, ginger, oregano, seasonings, bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, curry, mint, vanilla, anise, food coloring, sweetener and Provençal herbs.
