Azteca

Activity
In Azteca we produce fresh pressed corn and wheat tortillas for the catering and restaurant market and large stores. The company produces 100,000 wheat and corn tortillas per hour, all under strict control of traceability. In recent years, 12 million euros have been invested in the construction and design of the new plant, located in Borox, Toledo. With this, it is at the technological forefront of the sector. To this is added a highly qualified professional team that leads our project that has been strengthened with the incorporation in April 2015 of GRUMA (www.gruma.com), the world leader in the production of tortillas. As a trusted partner, Azteca Foods considers the commercial relationship with its customers within a framework of long-term commitment and mutual respect. A commitment that is reflected in an immediate capacity to respond to all types of needs. It has a large and consolidated network of customers and distributors, in Spain and throughout Europe. Whether through its own Azteca brand or under a white label, its products reach an increasing number of industries and consumers. Thus, Azteca has become a leading business project in full expansion. Since its inception, the company has recorded sustained annual growth always above double digits. With an export volume that represents 50% of its business, today Azteca Foods is present in more than 30 countries in Europe, the Middle East, the Maghreb and Asia.   HISTORY Azteca Foods Europe was born in 1995 as an initiative of a group of entrepreneurs with a deep knowledge of the Spanish market. Since then it has grown to become one of the leaders in the production in Spain of this type of products and one of the most important in the European Community. In April 2015, it became part of GRUMA (www.gruma.com), a leader in tortilla production worldwide.
