LABASTIDA UK red wine bottle 0.75 L Matured

Made with Tempranillo plots from all over Labastida, ranging from 450 to 670 meters above sea level. All plots are owned and harvested by hand. The grapes are destemmed upon arrival at the winery. Cold pre-fermentation maceration takes place for four days until the spontaneous onset of alcoholic fermentation. It is then aged for six months in French and American oak barrels. The wine has a medium-bodied core with a purple hue that turns red at the rim. Intense on the nose, with a blend of varietal red fruit aromas and those characteristic of barrel aging: coffee, vanilla, and tobacco. Easy on the palate, with medium volume and a fresh, complex aftertaste where the blend of varietal aromas and the nuances achieved during barrel aging reappears.
