Of the more than fifty plots that make up the Labastida vineyard, we select a minimum of two plots and a maximum of five per plot. The vast majority of the vines in these vineyards are Tempranillo, which coexist with some Garnacha. We harvest and produce by area, starting with the lowest, at 450 meters above sea level, and ending with the highest, above 650 meters. After production, we age the wines for 12 months in 225-liter French and American oak barrels. A cherry color with violet reflections and a medium-high depth, the wines are rich in aromas of licorice, lollipops, and red fruits, highlighting the character of the vintage, interspersed with hints of pastries, coffee, and balsamic nuances. A sweet entry on the palate gives way to balanced acidity that provides freshness. The wine is round and elegant on the palate. The aftertaste again recalls the wine's intensity and aromatic profile.
