History
The estate was acquired in 1842 by Toribio de Lecanda y Campo after the Mendizábal confiscation. In 1931, it passed into the hands of the Cid family and was later recovered by Luis Sanz Busto and María Luz Cid, who laid the foundations for the current winery. In 1989, they launched the first vintage. Currently, the winery is managed by Belén and Iván Sanz Cid, the founders' children, who continue the family project.
Product types
The company primarily produces red and white wines under the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. Its notable products include Dehesa de los Canónigos 15 meses, Solideo, Gran Reserva Luis Sanz Busto, Quinta Generación, Albillo Mayor, and Luzianilla. They also produce special editions and charity wines.
