Matarromera 25th Anniversary Verdejo Wine 75 CL

2023 Vintage. A year marked by a mild, frost-free winter followed by a rainy spring. These conditions caused early bud break in the vines, leading to an early harvest after a hot, dry summer. The harvested grapes showed a good balance between acidity and alcohol content and excellent health. Wine and Vineyard: Matarromera Barrel-fermented Verdejo is a wine with promise. It promises a very different experience than a normal white. To begin with, it is a wine with more body and structure, with a very limited production of between 3,000 and 6,000 bottles, depending on the vintage. Until its 25th anniversary, Matarromera was a winery dedicated to producing red wines with total personality. These years had to pass before Matarromera saw the birth of a single-varietal Verdejo, from its plots located in the DO.
