Tilenus Oak Aged Red Wine bottle 750 ml

VARIETIES: 100% Mencía. PRODUCTION AND AGEING: Manual harvest. In the winery, the grapes are sorted and destemmed. Fermentation is carried out with the winery's own indigenous yeasts, at a temperature controlled rate. In the barrel room, the grapes will remain in French oak barrels of different toastings and from different manufacturers for 12 months. The characteristics of the year will determine the time in each barrel, which is not always the same and not much more than 12 months. TASTING NOTES: Ruby red in colour. Red fruit and spices on the nose. Sweet and vibrant on the palate. Fresh finish and long mid-palate. Extraordinarily balanced, smooth wines with elegant and deep fruit. SOIL: Clay loam. VINEYARD: South-west facing and approximately 450 metres above sea level. Formation of small plots of different ages, bush-shaped, with ages ranging from 30 to 70 years.
