History
The winery was founded in 1841 by Don José de Molina after his return from the island of Luzon (Philippines) to Jumilla. Initially, ownership was passed down through the female line of the family until 1980, when it was sold to Don Juan José Martínez Abellán, who resumed the winemaking business. In 2005, the Fuertes family acquired the winery, modernizing and adapting it to modern times while maintaining its traditional essence.
Product types
The company offers a wide range of wines, especially those made with the Monastrell variety. Its most recognized products include Altos de Luzón, Por Tí, Alma de Luzón, Mina de Oro, Luzón Dulce, and Cava Mina de Oro. It also produces organic and alcohol-free wines, and has collections such as Iconos de Luzón, Luzón Colección, Origen de Luzón, and Finca Luzón.
