Veigadares Albariño6x75Cl DO Rías Baixas

Veigadares is, by definition, the white of whites, a Rías Baixas that draws on all the native varietals and exceptional terroirs. It is in the Almuíña manor house where Veigadares intertwines the multiple nuances and personalities of its components. Built in 1665, of Arabic origin, “Al-münya”, which means orchard, indicates the Celtic derivation of “muin” which means “vine” and tells us that wine has always been present in the history of the manor house. Surrounded by 6 hectares of vineyards, the Almuíña manor house not only the boutique winery where Veigadares is made, but its vineyards also give this wine all the personality of the Condado sub-region. Veigadares gives the importance that they deserve, in addition to Albariño, to the other varietals of the denomination. The Treixadura with its florality and elegance, the exuberant and delicate Loureira, the white Caíño with its freshness and structure, are the perfect accompaniments to Albariño, completing the puzzle. Veigadàres draws on the different sub-zones of the DO and the influence that these “terroris” have on the character of the Albariño grape, offering us its diverse faces and personalities. The Condado with its florality, the Rosal with its extroversion and the Salnés with its nerve and freshness.
