The streets are decorated for the occasion and a court jester runs through them, bringing joy to all the visitors. It's party time at Terra do Castelo. A wine that comes from the heart of Galicia, in an area bathed by the rivers Miño, Avia and Arnoia. The Treixadura grape produces a magnificent white wine that represents the essence of Ribeiro wines, the serenity and freshness of the Galician interior. Founded in 2004, the winery sources grapes from 40 winegrowers who have a total of 23 hectares, from which the best Treixadura vines are selected in the Beade area to make Terra do Castelo. Originating in the oldest viticulture and oenology area in Galicia and with a production of 26,000 bottles, Terra do Castelo is the result of a manual harvest. After a subtle crushing of the grapes and subsequent fermentation, it is subjected to racking, resting and blending. An aromatic and elegant wine, fundamentally fruity and with delicate floral notes.
