Pascal Jolivet Sancerre white wine bottle 1.5l

In 1982, Jacques Jolivet, a wine merchant, bought a small company in Puilly sur Loire, the "Great Wines of the Loire Valley" and entrusted the management to his son Pascal, who 5 years later created his own brand in Sancerre. In 1991, Pascal produced his first vintage with the winery's first winemaker, Luc Soty. They worked with natural fermentations using 100% indigenous yeasts and controlled fermentation temperatures. This method quickly enabled the winery to create a true style and for two consecutive years, 1995 and 1996, they were in the top 100 of the best wines according to "Wine Spectator". In 2000, Pascal Jolivet decided to build a new winery and began to work by gravity from the reception of grapes to bottling. Today the estate covers 65 hectares, 42 in Sancerre, 8 in Pouilly-Fumé and 15 in Touraine.
