The Castaño Family has always been a pioneer in the area, experimenting with the Monastrell variety, both in varietal and coupage, introducing the latest technological advances, both in the vineyard and in the winery, and implementing quality systems that allow for the most appropriate production. Its wines are the result of working with the autochthonous Monastrell variety, of constant experimentation with other varieties and of the different types of soil where its DO Yecla vineyards are located. The care of the vineyard, the exhaustive selection of grapes and a meticulous preparation, adapted to each variety and type of grape, allow this winery to offer a wide range of wines, young or with different levels of oak aging, monovarietal and harmonious blends.

Features

• Tasting notes: Intense garnet red color, bright. Complex, balsamic, earthy, spicy and mineral aromas on a very fruity background (ripe red plum, wild blackberries). Tasty, with marked and pleasant acidity. Sweet tannins, cocoa, with a long and elegant finish.
• Pairs well with duck, grilled red meats and cured cheeses. Also with game meat stews. Recommended consumption temperature between 17-18ºC
