The Castaño Family has always been a pioneer in the area, experimenting with the Monastrell variety, both in varietal and coupage, introducing the latest technological advances, both in the vineyard and in the winery, and implementing quality systems that allow for the most appropriate production. Its wines are the result of working with the autochthonous Monastrell variety, of constant experimentation with other varieties and of the different types of soil where its DO Yecla vineyards are located. The care of the vineyard, the exhaustive selection of grapes and a meticulous preparation, adapted to each variety and type of grape, allow this winery to offer a wide range of wines, young or with different levels of oak aging, monovarietal and harmonious blends.

Features

• Tasting note: intense dark red but clean and bright, on the nose the aromas of ripe fruits (blueberries and blackberries) stand out, which return in the mouth accompanied by plum stew and a very elegant mineral touch. It is fresh, silky, but no less opulent and structured. A fully integrated wood, with sweet tannins and a long finish.
• The ideal service temperature is between 17-18ºC. Pairs with red meat, roast lamb, vegetable stew and strong cheeses.
