History
The winery was founded in 2014 with the aim of revitalizing the wine sector in Llucmajor, an area with a winemaking tradition dating back to Roman times. After a period of decline due to phylloxera in the 19th century, the planting of new vines at the beginning of the 21st century allowed winemaking to resume at the Sa Bassa Plana estate.
Product types
The company produces a wide range of white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines, using both native and international varieties. Highlights include Vi Rei Barrica, Vi Rei Blanco, Vi Rei Sauvignon Blanc, Cala Pi Rosado, Cala Pi Blanco, Cala Pi Tinto, Vi Rei Reserva, Es Gall (in its red, white, and rosé varieties), Es Pop Blanc de Negres, Malvasía Barrica, and Vi Rei Crianza. It also offers extra virgin olive oil and wine tourism experiences such as tastings, guided tours, and vineyard picnics.
