The Viyuela family has a winemaking tradition dating back to the 19th century in Boada de Roa. In 2003, the family decided to embark on a high-quality project with the construction of a modern winery. The first full harvest took place that same year, and in 2006, they launched their Reserva 2003. Over the years, their wines have received numerous national and international awards, and they currently export to more than 20 countries.

The company offers a range of wines, including reds and whites. Highlights include Viyuela Verdejo (100% Verdejo white), Viyuela Barrica (100% Tempranillo red, aged for four months in barrels), Viyuela Selección (10 months in barrels), Viyuela Crianza (16 months in barrels), Viyuela Reserva (24 months in barrels), and Viyuela Gran Reserva (34 months in barrels).
