Activity
Casa de la Ermita was established in 1999 by a family with a long-standing connection with agriculture. Our winery and its vineyards are located in El Carche, a protected regional park and a stunningly beautiful mountain range with one of the highest peaks in the Region of Murcia. The centuries-old olive tree that stands at the gates of Casa de la Ermita is the symbol of our winery and the source of inspiration that brings together our farming tradition and the state-of-the-art technology that allows us to make top quality Jumilla wines by taking great care throughout the production process.

History
Casa de la Ermita was founded in 1999 by a winemaker with the goal of creating wines that represented the art of winemaking and the terroir of the Jumilla region. Since its inception, the winery has been a pioneer in the introduction of new grape varieties such as Petit Verdot and Viognier to Jumilla, and has stood out for its innovation and international expansion. The company has maintained a commitment to quality, sustainability, and the preservation of local winemaking traditions.

Product types
The company produces a wide range of wines, including reds, whites, rosés, and sweet wines, many of them organic and vegan. The grape varieties used include Monastrell, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Macabeo, and Chardonnay. Some of the most notable products include Casa de la Ermita Blanco, Rosé, Tinto, Roble, Crianza, Idílico, Petit Verdot, Dulce Tinto Monastrell, Dulce Blanco, Parcela Los Pinos, and Parcela La Solana. The company also offers wine jams and wine tourism experiences such as guided tours, tastings, and bicycle tours through the vineyards.

Mission
The company's purpose is a commitment to quality and excellence, reflecting pride in its winemaking roots and a nonconformist spirit focused on continuous improvement. Its goal is to offer dynamic, international wines that preserve the essence of Jumilla's terroir, using sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
