Bornay is primarily dedicated to the manufacture of small-scale wind turbines for the mini-wind sector and the distribution of products related to renewable energy, such as solutions for self-consumption of electricity.

Bornay was founded in the early 1970s by Juan Bornay, motivated by the idea of generating electricity through wind power for locations without access to the electrical grid. From its beginnings in a small workshop, the company has evolved, incorporating technological innovations into its wind turbines and expanding internationally. Throughout its history, it has developed its own products and completed more than 9,000 installations in over 70 countries. Currently, it is a second-generation family business, with a team of approximately 30 employees and a strong focus on innovation and social responsibility.

The company manufactures small wind turbines (such as the Wind+ and Bee 800 ranges) and distributes a wide variety of renewable energy products, including solar panels (monocrystalline, polycrystalline and flexible), solar regulators, inverters, battery chargers, batteries (AGM, GEL, lithium, lead carbon), battery monitors, self-consumption kits, LED lighting systems and energy storage and management products such as those from Tesla Energy (Powerwall, Wall Connector, Gateway).

Bornay's mission is to bring energy to places where it is unavailable, using mini-wind turbines and solar photovoltaic energy. Its vision is to become a benchmark in the renewable energy sector in Spain and in the countries where it operates internationally.
