Ibiza has the oldest historical references when it comes to the elaboration and trade of Ibiza wine in the Balearic Islands. The wine activity began with the presence of the Carthaginians, who already in the seventh century BC. they had settled on the island, founding the colony of Ebusus. Bodega Can Maymó is located north of the island of Ibiza, in the village of Sant Mateu. It is a small winery of family character, which in 1995, Antonio Costa begins with the adventure of reforming and expanding the winery, conditioning it with the latest technologies for the production of wines.

The family-run winery was founded in 1995 by Antonio Costa, who renovated and expanded the winery with the goal of offering quality wines. The company has expanded and modernized its facilities and cultivates its own vineyards in several locations in northern Ibiza.

The company offers red, white, and rosé wines, extra virgin olive oil, and Hierbas Ibicencas liqueur. Its wines include Tinto Barrica, Tinto Tradición, Tinto Merlot, Blanco (Malvasía and Moscatel), Rosé (Syrah and Tempranillo), and Grec (Malvasía).
